• Headstones

  Jakes grave is marked with a rock marker carved with and "R" on it. Salem cemetery has 4 such markers. Jake and Julia's son Edd has several chilren die at a young age and they don't have a headstone either. Edd and Alice lived near the Salem cemetery and are buried there. It is believed the "R" markers belong to Jake and Julia and the children of Edd and Alice.
